AutoPager seeing posts as pages

I’ve been using the “pretty” permalinks for some time, but just now i noticed, that the browserplugin AutoPager ( at least with Chrome ) seems to handle single articles as pages meaning if you have an article with id=34 and you scroll down, AutoPager will just add the next article found with a higher id for example 64 to the page.
This looks damn ugly since it just appends the other article, where the comments should have been.
I’m not sure how to fix this, or if it’s even possible since there is no method I know to make AP exclude your page, nor to completely remove the unique id for posts ( would be senseless anyway )
