Automatically Set Feature Image upload process on background

    It would be great if when we upload the feature image on our post, it will automatically process on the background. The media gallery box will disappear so we can save time waiting we can then edit the contents of our posts while the image is uploading.

    We will notice the image is successfully uploaded when it appears on the Image widget on the right side of our screen anyway.

    If this is a bad idea, please disregard.

    Hi,

    It’s kinda what happens. If you upload an image, you can close the media box and then edit your content. But yes, you have to select that image afterwards.

    I kind of like your idea but I’m not sure how others will feel about it. Maybe you can create a ticket here and find that out: https://themes.trac.wordpress.org/
