    Hello,
    i’ve an “issue” with mailpoet
In fact, the users need to accept a second mail to confirm he want to receive mail from us but we just sent a welcome mail just after subscription
Every new user has the subscriber role so no problem about this.

    Finally what i want his
User create account>receive mail without doing anything right avec the sign up confirmation

    Best regards

    Hi there @christopherzenmon,

What you are seeing with the Welcome is expected behavior when you have Sign-up confirmation enabled (which is required when sending with MailPoet). This is mentioned at the bottom of our Welcome Email documentation here:
    https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/345-create-a-welcome-email

If you have sign-up confirmation / double opt-in enabled, then there’s no workaround to avoid that — the customer must confirm their opt-in before your site will start sending them MailPoet emails.

So if i understand well, if i disable sign-up confirmation/double opt-in welcome mail will be send directly without confirmation ?

    Hi again @christopherzenmon 👋🏽,

Yes, you are right. But please bear in mind that we strongly recommend double opt-in to confirm express consent.

In fact, it is mandatory if you are using the MailPoet Sending Service under ‘MailPoet > Settings > Send With… tab’

    I hope this helps!

    Cheers

    Hi there @christopherzenmon,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
