Hi @niwin,
So you’d like the users to be subscribed without having to go through the opt-in process and then receive a Welcome Email after subscribing, is that right?
As you mentioned, double opt-in is enforced when sending with our sending service, so it would not be possible to deactivate it.
If you’re using a 3rd-party sending method and no email is sent, it could be that something is wrong with the sending method’s settings. Can you please confirm you can send a test email from MailPoet > Settings > Send With… > Other?
Yes, as I said the test email works fine with smtp email with my hosting settings.
Hi @niwin,
Sorry I missed that information in your original message.
Can you please let us know if the Welcome Emails are scheduled but not sent, or if they are sent but not delivered?
If they’re being sent from the plugin but not delivered to your mailbox, I’d suggest sending an email to https://www.mail-tester.com to check if there are any deliverability issues.
If they are being scheduled to be sent, it could be that the subscribers’ statuses are “Unconfirmed”, “Inactive” or something else other than “Subscribed”. Can you please check if the subscribers are all added to the right list and listed as “Subscribed” there?
They have status “sent”. But the are not delivered.
I got a perfect 10/10 score for the mail-tester.com.
So looks like the plugin doesn’t not send out any emails…
So what to do?
Hi again,
Could you please contact us via https://www.mailpoet.com/support/sales-pre-sales-questions/ and include a link to this thread?
Make sure to include a couple of email addresses that should have received the emails.
Your request will be triaged accordingly when we receive it and we’ll be able to provide you with more information there.
Cheers
Hi, thanks for reaching out. As of now, the automatic sending seems to be working. Not sure what has changed, but unless it starts acting up again, I’ll consider this thread solved. Thanks for all the help!
