Automatic update does not work Error 404

    I had to do the last update to 3.3 already manually and this new update to 3.3.1 does not work either. In both cases I am getting a page saying file no longer exists, Page Not Found Error 404.
    I hate having to update manually I am really scared to do it wrong and lose all my content. Can somebody help? Thanks !

    Just update manually then since the automatic way doesnt work for you. Upload manually the file via FTP.

    Thanks Richard but I am looking for a solution to this problem, why do I get a 404 error, what does that mean ?
