Hi,
thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
If you are trying the URL method, this could mean that your server is not able to connect to the NAS.
Where is the server located? Is it in the same network as the NAS, or is it a live server in the internet, while the NAS is in your local network? Can the NAS be reached from the outside or is there maybe some sort of router or firewall blocking the access?
To check whether this is not related to the file that you want to import, can you maybe upload the file to a server on the internet and try with that URL?

Tobias

Hello,
My nas is located on my home network.
I have made a shared link where the file can be downloaded from.
The link is : http://wjongsma.synology.me:5000/fbsharing/Qwsl0vJL
When you open that link you can reach the nas so that isn`t the problem
Regards Thomas
Hi Thomas,
ok, then it might be possible that your server for some reason can not access that URL. Does the import from a URL work for other “live” URLs (not on your NAS)?

Hi Tobias,
When I try to acces this file on another site of me http://luitdesign.nl/1.xlsx
the import function is working
Hi,
ok, that then confirm my assumption that your server does not like something with the connection to the NAS 🙁 Maybe it’s the port in the URL, or maybe it’s the mime type that the server sends. This is nothing though that I can change or influence in TablePress, but it’s a server issue 🙁

Tobias
