    Hello,

I just realized that our site has been experiencing indexing problems since May 29th.

I noticed the creation and indexing of more than 500 empty events since that date (approximately 20 per day). Here are the two types of url that repeat (only the last part of the url changes) :

    – Example 1: https://www.tranquil.it/evenements/CATéGORIE/sortie-officielle/jour/2018-12-31
    – Example 2: https://www.tranquil.it/evenements/category/webinaire/2019-03-22/

However, we did not create any of these events, nor did we set up automatic creation.

On our site, we do not allow indexing of categories, tags and archives. And yet, here is the code of the pages that pose a problem: <meta name=”robots” content=”index, follow” />.

While waiting to solve this problem, we have implemented a 301 redirection. I remain available to provide you with more information!

    Hey there @3manu!

I’m so sorry that you’re having issues with our plugin.
Our plugin doesn’t have any featured to automatically create Events. The most similar thing that you’ll find is Recurring Events if you have Events Calendar PRO installed

If you head to “Events > Events” which user is the author of the mentioned events?
Also, did you created any Post Category called sortie officielle or webinaire?

In this case I strongly recommend you to run our Testing for Conflicts tutorial to see if you’re able to find which external code can be doing it.

Let me know the results you found.
    Cheers,

    Hello @deblynprado,

    thank you for your answer!

Technically, I don’t think the plugin creates these events. They don’t appear in “Events”. However, the URLs appear in the search console and are indexed in the SERP.

There is no author mentioned on these “fake events”, only the message “No events planned for Day Month Year“.

Indeed, sortie officielle et webinaire are events categories.

I will try to run your testing for Conflicts tutorial, but as the problem seems to come from event indexing, I doubt to get results.

I will keep you informed of the evolution of the problem.
