• Hello,
I would like to add subscribers not thanks to a form but by adding directly the needed info inside the Mailpoet’s tables in the database.
I made a first test and it seems that creating the record in the wp_wysija_user_list table is not sufficient (auto newsletter is not sent when the user is moved to the needed list by adding this kind of record).
My question is : is it possible to add a user in a list and send autonewsletter only by modifying the different tables in the database?

    Regards
    Pat

    Hi there Pat,

Thanks for your question! Can you confirm if you are using MailPoet version 2 or vrsion 3?

As wp_wysija_user_list is not a table used by MailPoet version 3.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

I’m coming back to this topic as no answer have been posted.
    I’m still using Mailpoet 2.

I have tried again to update the wp_wysija_user_list table thanks to a function.
The table is updated (I can see the couple user_id / list_id) but no newsletter is sent after a user have been added to the list by this way.

I have 3 autonewsletters that should normally be sent after a user subscribes to this specific list, but none of them is working.
Are you sure that updating the table is sufficient to launch the autonewsletter or do we need to make something else for that?

    Regards
    Pat
