It’s in the MODERATION tab.
So that’s not such a good idea. If you’re using FB Connect you can auto login since it’s safe to assume the user is valid. However, without that there’s currently know way to auto-login … though I’m open to adding it, despite the fact I think it’s a bad idea.
Are users that already registered able to log back in with this plugin?

I used the following Plugin to allow auto login after registration. You can also specify the page you want the user to be redirected to after login.
Nextend auto Login on Register
