How exactly it does appear on Twitter?
Hi,
Thank you for responding 🙂
I have titles like ‘Gift Ideas’
When tweeted they appear like this > #Gift Ideas
I did set the ‘Auto-HashTags Settings’ to add a separator/under;line so it would the whole word would be a hashtag like :
#Gift-Ideas
I have tried a number of ways but so far, no good.
Any ideas?
Many Thanks
What is your plugin version?
Could you please tell us how to reproduce your issue step by step?
We can’t reproduce it. We just tried all tree options. The test told us that Twitter no longer supports dash in the hashtags and wee need to remove that option, but no issues with SNAP that you described.

Hi,
Perhaps I misunderstood this….
I am referring to autoposter settings where I can change how the ‘Title’ appears if its is two words or more.
When posting to Twitter using : %TITLE%
So lets say the ‘title’ of the post is : My Blog
When tweeted, its shows : #My Blog and not #My_Blog or #My-Blog to make a complete hashtag of the ‘Title’
Does that makes sense to you?
Many Thanks
Sorry, but it doesn’t make sense. Why would title become a hashtag?
If you put %TITLE% in the format it will post “My Blog”. It will not add # and it will not remove spaces. Only post tags could become hashtags automatically.
Hi,
Apologies, my error…got confused.
Sure, I get that but I want to hashtag ‘TITLE’ 😉
Here’s what I’m using :
I add # to > %TITLE% so when its posted, it hastags the ‘whole’ title.
So on twitter, this > #%TITLE% > will show as > #My_Website so the title is one total hashtag.
At the moment, when I use #%TITLE% and the title is two words, it appears as a broken hashtag
Does that make any sense to you?
BTW – So far over the last four weeks, no issues posting to twitter!
Many Thanks
Sorry, but adding # to %TITLE% will not turn title in the hashtag. You will need to figure out another way of adding title as a hashtag. You can do it either manually or using some custom field
