Have you tried:
– deactivating the plugin to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

On one of my WP sites I am seeing a new comment appear in the approval queue after each update of a post. It does not seem to happen when a new post is added, only when updated.
The IP address of the comment poster is not mine, but the IP range seems to be owned by my web hosting company.
The theme I’m using on the site is GeoPlaces but their support swear it’s not the template causing this. I have only one additional plugin running, which is WP-SEO.
Can anyone give me a clue on where to look for what’s causing this? It’s only an annoyance but I’d like to track it down all the same.
