    Hello!

I am a new user using your plugin. I have a question here. I am using auto ads (google adsense) and using the adsense page exclusion function in adsense website.

Do I still need to manually add the page exclusion in your plugin in wordpress?

    Thank you!

    Hi abcwpgrandpa,

    thanks for reaching out.

The page exclusion option in your AdSense account should be ok. The difference would be that when you use our options, the code is not added to your site at all. That might have a small page speed benefit.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

    Thank you Thomas!

I have added the page exclusion in my adsense account however for some reasons, the ads are still showing even after clearing my cloud flare cache etc.

I would like to try adding the exclusion via your plugin instead. Can I use the method here for auto ads page exclusion?

Can I exclude specific url with a asterisk to cover all the related pages?

Thank you for your kind and awesome support!

    Hi abcwpgrandpa,

Settings made in the AdSense account take some time to be effective, normally about 30 minutes.

Anyway, you can use the Specific Pages display condition or the Ad Settings to block the AdSense code on specific pages.

Where would you want to use an asterix? There is no input field in one of the options.

    Thanks,
    Thomas

Thank you! I have disabled the auto ads and waited for more than 1 hour however the above post ad still shows. Do I need to wait longer?

    Hi abcwpgrandpa,

I would wait for more than one hour, maybe two, just to be sure.

Unfortunately, I am not able to tell from the code on the website which options Auto ads have in the AdSense account. I can only tell if a code is there or not.

    Best regards,
    Thomas

Thank you Thomas! Yes I have disabled the auto ads verification code in your plugin so it should be fine 🙂 I also added ad inserter. It should not conflict with your plugin right?

    Not that I know of.

May I ask why you are using two ad plugins?

    Thanks,
    Thomas

Thank you Thomas. For ad inserter, I want to insert the ad on “after post” position instead of footer. 🙂

Advanced Ads comes with the “After Content” placement which does the same 😉

Just take a look under Advanced Ads > Placements.

    Best regards,

Okay I will have a look 🙂 I tried adding between content but it conflict with my website which is using iframe to contain the content.

    Hi Thomas,

I have deleted ad inserter and just using your plugin. There is a strange thing. I am using short code to display the adsense ad. When the ad is showing, my page (at the before Content area) got a space randomly created. When I check the Google developer ad, it shows google_ads_frame2

It does not appear when the adsense ad is not activated.

    Do you have any idea?
