As of Authorizer 2.8.0, the command wp plugin activate authorizer no longer functions, but the plugin can still be activated through the GUI. I’m not sure what changed, but reverting to 2.7.2 fixes the problem.

I should add…there’s no error message. WP-CLI simply returns with no status, and the plugin doesn’t get activated.

Thanks, we’ll check it out. Version 2.8.0 introduced a bunch of coding standards changes, including sanitization and escaping, so my guess is it’s related to that. Will keep you updated.

Tracked it down to a nonce check being added to plugin activate:

I’ll look into whether that nonce check is really required for security.
