author value for comments always showing anonymous | WordPress.org

On http://www.nosoapradio.org

Any post (non trackback), moderated or not, shows the author as “Anonymous” even when a name is entered into the field.

Please help!

Have a look in your theme’s single.php it is likely it is hardcoded for some reason, then take a look at http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/comment_author

thanks for getting me going in the right direction. I have some sort of bug around the cookie that is over-riding the form entry…

Have you maybe got multiple entry points for your blog? Like http://www.yourdomain.com and just yourdomain.com?
