author page display issue

    Prevent discovery of usernames through ‘/?author=N’ scans

    If this is ticked it displays all author pages to ?author=2 content.
    It does not redirect it to ?author=1, merely displays it’s content instead of the proper author’s content.

    Thanks for the report. We’ve identified some cases where this occurs and the dev team has this scheduled for a future release.

    Hmmm not really “resolved”. Someone browsing through the forum and looking at the title would think it is though. I’d keep it unresolved until it’s, you know, resolved.

    Ok, I’ve marked it as not resolved — there are 3 to 6 of us at Wordfence answering posts on most days, and the wordpress.org forums don’t have any good way for us to see what was answered by anyone else already, but I understand your perspective too. Thanks!
