I have switched that but it does not matter what I switch it to it always shows as dadshandyhomegmail-com Its not even a real email address. The @ is gone and the dot is a dash. I dont know if something is wrong or ?

I am starting to think it is a problem in the theme I completely deleted the theme and re-installed it, but my name still displays wrong

Even if I can’t find a page with the post name anymore, I’ll still try to give you some hints.

If it is an issue with the theme, you’ll want to create a child theme, create a new functions.php file in the child theme anad edit the function which displays the meta data. To help you quickly find what you need, do a search in the file for meta or author or name.

It should use WP’s native function get_the_author() to return the author name.

    Hope this helps.

Sorry I could not figure it out so I disabled the page.
The page is back now if you follow the link I gave.
If you have more information on how to fix this it would be appreciated.
I have decided that I need to know a little more about wordpress themes. There is a lot more I want to edit, but I don’t know how, I just know its possible. If you could point me somewhere that might have some more information on how wordpress themes work that would be extremely appreciated.

In my opinion, the best way to learn WP and web design is to have a project, to have issues with the project, to google for the answer and to get and provide help in the forums. Knowing some html, css, javascript and php won’t hurt either but it is one step at a time. Eventually, the big picture will appear clearer.

There are some courses available but I find they won’t help you with your problems for the time spent.

As I said, Google is your friend 🙂

And have you tried contacting the developper of this theme about this issue ?
