    Hello everyone,

    I am very new to wordpress and creating a site. I have choosen Lucienne for its modern features.

    I wanted to change the author box on the right side and used this htlm :

    <div class=”authorwidget widget”>
    <span>
    <div class=”authorphoto”>
    author
    </div>
    </span>
    <h1 class=”widget-title”>Lucienne</h1>
    <hr class=”widget-border”>
    <p>This is a custom author box widget where you can display your photo, social media links and some information about yourself.</p>

    </div>

    The result is :

    <div class=”authorwidget widget”>
    <span>
    <div class=”authorphoto”>

    alt=”Sabrina ABED”
    </div>
    </span>
    <h1 class=”widget-title”>Sabrina</h1>
    <hr class=”widget-border”>
    <p>Je suis Maître et praticienne Reiki. J’exerce et enseigne à Nanterre,<br /> Paris et Port-la-Nouvelle.<br />

    06.61.27.22.01.</p>

    </div>

    My problem is that I successfully have the img on the landing page but not on the other ones, wheras the text and facebook link are still there.

    I hope it is clear ( i am french 😉 )

    Thank you very much for your help on with this ♥

  • Would you add a link to your site so I can review how your HTML appears in the widget? I suspect the image source was not linked correctly. Or you can use the ‘code’ tag in the forum editor to paste your HTML here.

    Thank you Ryan
    Indeed the image source was not linked correctly
    Thank you so much for the help you give to everybody
    Kind regards
    Sabrina

    Hey there,

    help needed! very very new to wordpress and got no idea how html or CSS works……. I’ve downloaded lucienne theme and also have the WP Post Author widget activated, however, how do I get my photo and text to appear as on Lucienne theme?

    And although not related to author box how on earth do I get that white part of the post/box appear on the featured image on homepage???

    Please help!!!!

    UPDATE – please ignore my last Q on previous post.
    But I’m still struggling to get the exact same look as shown on this Lucienne theme. I want to get the following:

    – the image first and in the middle
    – then I want my name to appear as it appears on the theme and underlined so it’s consistent with the other titles on the blog
    – I want the greay boarder that’s shown on the side menu of the theme, to be a boarder on my photo just like on Lucienne theme
    – I do not want the photo OR the name to be clickable. I don’t want any of the Author widget to link to a page
    – I do not want the widget to include ‘ See author posts’
    – I want social icons to be center aligned as on Lucienne theme

    ANYONE? Will massively appreciate !
