Authentication Required – Keeps popping up

    So I had a friend install wordpress for me on my website that I am currently hosting. However whenever you visit the site a pop up appears stating

    Authentication Required:
    A username and password are being requested by http://web96.justhost.com:2082. The site says: “cPanel”

    I am not sure this is a simple fix, or if the wordpress was incorrectly installed. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
