Authentication enabled without username password

    Hi
    Is it normal if it’s working with option Authentication enabled and empty password? I have set username but password field i leave empty/blank. Email sending working well – tested. How it’s possible? I saw here many question about unhidden password in plain text but the password is not require (on my hosting).

    It all depends on the settings of the SMTP gateway of either your email provider or your hosting. So it’s a norm, but very specific to you, so for others it may not work.
