Audio Shortcode Not Working After 4.4.1 Upgrade

    Any post with audio embeds using either “[audio mp3=...]” or just the mp3 URL itself has a blank space where the audio player used to show.

    I have tried disabling all plugins and using the Twenty Sixteen theme and neither solution has worked.

    Oddly, video embeds are working just fine.

    Yes. This is the output:

    <audio class="wp-audio-shortcode" id="audio-64860-1" preload="none" style="width: 100%; visibility: hidden;" controls="controls"><source type="audio/mpeg" src="http://mydomain.song.mp3?_=1"><a href="http://mydomain.song.mp3">http://mydomain.song.mp3</a></audio>

    My issue seems to be with the “visibility: hidden” but how do I control that?

    Looks like even with all plugins disabled, W3 Total Cache’s minification of
    JS and CSS was the culprit.
