audio archive and player….

ok not a supa tech person but..
can i use wordpress to build an audio archive that has an embeddable player for myspace or websites? pretty much i’m tryin to get a podbean.com type service but utilize my own hostin and to not pay the 20$ a month i would need to host the sizes of files i need to make available
