Just updated to 2.9.42 hoping to solve the problem.
If I use the Quick Add function I get a “file-not-found.txt”

May you please post here http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/forum/download-manager-free/ , I need to check the issue in your installation.

At the moment it’s on localhost MAMP, so there’s no link I can share.
Should I wait until it goes live?
