Astra theme is very slow

    I installed this theme and it is very good. However, it is slow. I am using WP rocket and earlier the pages used to load within 3 seconds. Currently if you observe, it is taking anywhere between 3 to 5 seconds. I am attaching the plugins list, can you pls check and let me know for any optimization that can be done?

    Hi @hisureshkumar,

    If we are talking about a site speed/performance, a theme alone does not decide the speed of the website. There are other important factors such as the hosting you choose, other plugins used on the website, how a page is designed, the size and compression of images, and many others.

    I did a test of your site on GTmetrix and the result was quite impressive I would say. Take a look at this screenshot. I also did a test on Pingdom.com and the load time was about 1 second. Refer to this screenshot, please.

    On my end, your site is also blazing fast. This is the video to see how fast your site is on my end.

    I think I am too facing the same problem. GTmetrix and PageSpeed shows good results, but the actual load time is quite high. I have another site in a different theme with very heavy in images and very low scores with GTmetrix and PageSpeed, but the page loads very fast.
