Assign php page a WordPress page title

I have a php query results page that is derived from a wordpress page. I would like to have the php page take on the title of the WP page and have the WP page title shown in the menu bar when the query results page is displayed. This would, I think, help with navigation.

My site is http://www.vicsmithphoto.com and the behavior can be seen by using the Great Places page and searching for any of the dropdown options. You’ll notice that the query works just fine, but the menu bar is not activated by the query results php page.

(I am not a software type, just someone who needs to know enough to get things going…)
