Asset / file name preffix

    Hi, since some time, I am dealing with change of asset / file name – there is a preffix before original file name. I cant remember I did any change in setting. Is there some advise, how to control it?

    Thanks for reaching out.
    Are you are referring to a filename prefix such as “177766xyzwpdm_” being added before the original file name?
    If not, please share a screenshot of the file name.

    The prefix is being added to help prevent duplicate file names. In version 3.3.57 there is no dedicated setting available to control this behavior. The prefix is applied automatically and cannot be disabled in that version.

    However, the Pro version includes a dedicated setting that allows you to choose whether the prefix should be added or not, giving you full control over the file naming behavior.

    So it is a new fetaure in 3.3.57? It doesnt looks nice, with the prefffix.

    No, it’s not a new feature. It was introduced in version 3.1
