I made a bot that ask for the user information and at the end send the next message:
“We will be i touch, meanwhile, we will be happy to know what is your question”.
When im offline, if the user is sending a message, the built in feature which asking for email when the operetor is offline will show up. But the user wrote his details a minute ago.
If the email is saved as the Contact Property by the Chatbot, the offline message will only inform about the chat being offline and will not ask for the email on top of that.
However, if the email has not been saved, it will always ask for the email, and that option cannot be disabled at this time, as it needs the email address to forward the chat to your email.
