Askimet Error

When I check the Askimet page under site admin, I see the Caught Spam section just fine. However, under the last 15 days tab I get the following.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_post() in /a/dogbark/soulinprocess.com/htdocs/hollis/wp-content/plugins/akismet.php on line 256

I”m very new to css and most of my programming is basically changing a few lines of a template or theme and seeing what happens.

Help?
