Ashe incompatible with WordPress 5.6?

    Hi there!

    I moved to WordPress 5.6 2 days ago and was surprised to see my blog became completely ugly.

    I thought I had to wait for an update from Ashe that would make it “compatible” with WordPress 5.6, but an update came yesterday and it didn’t change fix that problem.

    I’m wondering:
    – am I the only one facing this issue? It’s kind of embarrassing to have now such an awful website while I’m dealing with graphics and visual topics…
    – is the problem coming from Ashe or from WordPress?
    – should I now look for a new WordPress theme or wait for another update from Ashe?

    Hi,

    1. Try to update the theme to the latest version, clear your cache (if you have), then clear your browser cache, and then check.

    2. I see that probably CSS not loading on your site, which might be the main cache related issue or plugin related so please follow my first recommendations, theme works fine and we already tested it.

    Hi Nick,

    Thanks for your answer. The problem remains after clearing the cache and updating everything I could… 🙁

    I do not know how to send you a screen shot, but I don’t have any side bar anymore and the banners don’t appear.

    My text is also fully extended on both sides of my screen, like there was no margin.

    I unfortunately don’t have any screenshot from before 🙁

    Which plugin are you thinking of that could cause this issue?

    Weird, please try to use https://imgur.com/upload to share screenshots or some other similar platforms, we requesting because the issue doenst appear on our test servers.

    I just went to my “appearance” settings and could get a glimpse of what my website actually looks like.

    What is strange is that the simulation of how my website should look like is not the same as what it actually is :/ (for comparison again, check my blog: https://joyeux-gribouilleurs.com -> you’ll see that the simulated appearance is completely different from the real one)

    Hi,

    As I mentioned before “I see that probably CSS not loading on your site…” best solution here will be to hire an expert in this field who will find what causing this issue. Probably due to the latest WP update your database is damaged or some plugin causing this. I can assure you that this is not a theme relayed issue. Unfortunately, there is no other ways to help you from my end 🙁

    Good news: I updated 2 plugins this morning (Autoptimize and Yoast SEO) and my blog is back to normal!
