Installed your plugin and the results are great!

Number of requests went down by 33%! And page size went down by 35%!

My only problem is that our website uses https and the image that is being served is not secure, so it’s giving the website a mixed-content warning.

Is there any way to make the image use https?

Here’s an example of one of the current image urls: “http://i.ytimg.com/vi/_7anzOx0WXE/filename.jpg”

    Thanks!

Hmm … those are the fall-back thumbnails, could it be you didn’t fill out a youtube API key on WP YouTube Lyte settings screen?

I had the API set to ‘none’ so that was probably the issue.

I couldn’t figure out how to get the API key. I tried following the directions under the plugin’s FAQ page but I think Google has changed their layout because they didn’t match up with what I was seeing.

Anyway, I finally got the API key and it looks to be working properly now!

Thanks for your help and thanks again for a great plugin!
