There is an option to let customers save their card for future purchases which is very nice and common with large ecommerce stores but I am wondering where the saved card data is being stored, is it in the WordPress database or on Stripe servers? Also, how accessible is this data if someone determined its location? Thank you for building this solution

    Hi @mohobook

Thank you for contacting Payment Plugins.

where the saved card data is being stored

Sensitive card data is always stored on Stripe’s servers, never in your WordPress database. The information stored in your database is non-sensitive based payment information. This plugin is SAQ-A compliant.

Also, how accessible is this data if someone determined its location?

Do you mean if your database was breached? The hacker would not gain access to the customer’s payment method information that would allow them to make charges. That type of information isn’t stored in the WordPress database.

    Kind Regards
