Are Migration Files same as Backup Files | WordPress.org

Recently a client wanted to change web hosting companies, and we used the new web hosting company’s migration service to handle the migration. However, they have not been successful. I have an UpDraft Plus back up from before the migration from the old host. I’m wondering if those files can be used to install the site on the new host, or if there will be issues and what are the issues?

If you encounter error/s, then please send us a copy of the migration log. You can find this log in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of your new site location. You can send the log file as an attachment or copy the contents into an online tool (such as http://pastebin.com/ )
