Archiving

I’m converting to wp-invoice from wordpress web invoice plugin which is no longer supported… converted all my invoices nicely, but I have a question about archiving.
In the other system, I used archiving to keep my current year’s invoices visible and separate from last year’s. In wp-invoice I only see an option to filter by paid and unpaid, which will make it difficult at the end of the year to see all the payments made in that year… any suggestions? thank you.
