Archives heading & Duplicate events

Good day,
We are using the events free calendar on our website. We currently have 2 issues:
1. We would like to duplicate events for every week: for example: We have a service every Sunday and want it to view for every week. Are we able to do this with the free version or do we need the pro?
2. Our events page has the heading Archive – and we can’t get rid of it? We want to make use of your calendar, but it won’t help us if the page keeps saying ‘archives’? Any idea how we can get rid of the ‘archive’? This is new website (launched this week) – so there is no pages archived.

Thank you for reaching out.
The built-in functionality to duplicate events is part of our pro add-on.

Some of our users have had some success with generic post duplication plugins such as this one. But, of course, this is not something we support (aka feel free to use it, but we cannot help with issues arising from its usage).

To remove the Archive heading, you can use one of the following approaches
1. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/remove-archives-from-calendar-page-title/
2. If you are using Yoast https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/how-to-remove-event-archives-from-the-title-in-yoast-seo/

Hey @geoffbel,

Thank you so much for your help!

I managed to get rid of the Archive title.

The generic post duplication plugins you mentioned – it seems like they are only cloning and duplicating the event? Will it allow me to repeat the same event multiple times, without duplicating it?

To answer your question, it sounds like you are looking for the recurring events functionality (aka creating events that repeat according to your rules). That feature (and many others) is available with our premium Pro add-on.
