Archive website on another

I have a couple of websites for old businesses/projects that I don’t want to pay the fees for going forward but i would like to keep online as an archive/resource for the project. One is on wordpress, the other wix.
Is there a way to archive a website by moving it to become part of another website domain? So move the entire website and have all pages available to view with the exisiting styling and active navigation but just accesses through another domain.
So instead of accessing project1.com people might be able to go to project1.archive.com or archive.com/project1 and still see the same content.

I think the best thing would be to use WP Multisite to create a network of WordPress sites. mywparchives.com, site1.mywparchives.com, etc.
