If there a delay before a regex redirect happens. I did this and I have regex and ignore case and slash selected and cleared my cache
^/wiki/.* to /articles/.*
But doesn’t seem to be working. Thanks again for any help.

Everything in the plugin is instant.
^/wiki/.* to /articles/.*
That is not a regular expression. Please see the URL I mentioned above which has links to regular expression help.

Thanks for your reply and a great plug-in by the way I am trying to use it effectively but in this case I am really confused. I read that link you shared and used this example.
A redirect that has the source URL /my-url/.* will match requests for:
/my-url/this
/my-url/that
So I am hoping to get all URLs with my domain/wiki/.* to resolve my domain/articles/.*
Seems I am not understanding how this works.

Maybe you can give a full example of a URL and the actual redirect settings you have used? It’s not clear from your words what you are doing/have done.

I changed the archive page for content from wiki to articles so content went from urls went from
https://mydomain.com/wiki/article-slug to https://mydomain.com/articles/article-slug
I am trying to write a redirect to redirect all the old URLs to the new URLs
The redirect settings are what I shared before.

Got it figured with some help here is what worked if anyone is interested.
original url:
^/wiki/(.*)$
Target url:
/articles/$1
Someone also suggested adding a trailing slash
