Archive “previous/next” links not working

Hi guys,

Let me start by noting that I’m well aware that this may be a problem with the plugin I am using – Top Level Categories – but he isn’t replying to comments or emails.

Basically I have removed the category base using the plugin, and now archive pages aren’t working:

Disabling the plugin has not fixed the problem, and having not tried to view a similar URL before enabling the plugin I am not sure if it has made any difference.

What I find strangest is that it isn’t even displaying the 404 page.
