AppServ and WP

I have kind of a weird problem. I’ve installed WP using AppServ on a local machine. I want to use it only on our internal network for our IT department. The problem is when you click on ‘View Site’, after you’ve created a post it takes you to http://hermes/itblog which doesn’t work. But if you go to http://hermes/itblog/ with the trailing slash it seems to work. Also when you log out and click on ‘Back to blog’ it goes to http://hermes/itblog, which doesn’t work. Any ideas on what might be wrong? Or how I can fix it? Thanks.
