    Hi,

While setting up an appointment duration time is required and seen by users during appointment front end menu under appointment type name. I would like to hide this duration time such as ”15 minutes”..

I can set duration time for each type but no need to be shown for users will do an appointment.

    Regards

  • Hello there!

Is there any specific reason for why the appointment duration needs to be removed?

The reason we ask is because the solution would require CSS. If there’s a way to help get you a solution through the Settings in the plugin we’d like to give that a try first 🙂

Also feel free to send us a direct message through our email support@simplyscheduleappointments.com

    Thanks,

    Hi,

    Thank you for fast reply,

The reason is removing times; not to be rude if I finish the session before the giving specific time, let’s say somebody took an appointment for 15 mins and I finished conversation within 5 mins. As general I can set it as 15 mins because I know it will be enough but users does not have to know exactly how much time I reserve for them.

For some services, it might be misunderstanding giving a time of period for users.

    Thank you again,

    Regards

Would you consider setting the appointment duration for 5 minutes and adding a 10 minute buffer after?

This way your calendar is still blocked off for 15 minutes but the customer sees this as a 5 minute call.

If this doesn’t work for you we could look into some custom CSS.

    Hi,

Thanks for the option but I didn’t mention it. If users see 5 mins there they may think it will be not enough and I am strict about timing.

=) everything is for customer satisfaction.

In some cases I can’t give them specific time period, It might be rude for people. Let’s say welcome meetings . I will put an option there for welcome meeting and shows 5 mins.. Does not sound good..

    While doing appointments and receiving notifications;
Appointment start time is ok, but ”appointment end time” and ”appoinment period time” should be an option.

It was a suggestion from my side, I guess many users of your plugin will be happy about that option.

And please update about CSS solution.

Thank you again for supporting very fast.

    Regards
