Applying the “Code” for AdSense

Help! I wanted to put Google AdSense on my website so I signed up for it and they gave me a code to paste into my html. Apparently I don’t have access to my html because WordPress doesn’t allow that? I have been told to paste the code into a widget, which I did, but AdSense sent me an email saying they could not view my site. I have no idea where to put the code! Someone help me please!

Where to add the code would depend on your theme (please post wht theme youare using).Possibly, the location to edit would probably be in header.php of your theme, somewhere below the code of the menu.

– make a full backup before editing;
