I do not think I have any plugins running.

How do I know if I do?

    Send a screenshot of yoursite.com/wp-admin/plugins.php

I disabled all of the plugins and it did not come back

I changed the theme and it did not come back but now I have lost all of my widgets in the right side bar that used to be there and still cannot find where to put them.

I do not know how to restore a previous backup

I’m reasonably sure Rajesh mean save a screen shot to your web server and post the link to that jpg file. 😉

But I wouldn’t bother as you can check by visiting http://karenstrumos.com/blog/wp-admin/plugins.php?plugin_status=active and see the active plugins that way.

Thats should let you see the list of active plugins if you have any.

It appears that this tread has stalled, but I think just wanted to add that whoever your webhost is should have a backup that they can restore to if you ask them. Don’t know if you want to go into all of that, but that is a option.

If that doesn’t work, then unfortunately it looks like you would need a programmer to become a little “hands on” with it. I would suggest elance if you don’t know anyone personally.
