I recently had someone tell me that they tried to comment on my blog, but the comments section won’t show up on the wordpress app, but they do show up when she views my blog on the mobile browser. Anyone have any ideas what the issue might be and how to solve it?

    My blog is http://damesthatknow.com

    Thank you!

Which WordPress app are you referring to?

I’m assuming she meant the main wordpress dashboard app

If she is referring to the new WordPress.com app that was released for Windows today (the Mac version was released last week): https://desktop.wordpress.com/

Then yes, that app does not support leaving comments on a site from inside the “Reader” feature. There is a link to “Visit” sites directly on each article, and the user can leave comments on the site directly.

If she is referring to the WordPress mobile apps, then the same thing applies. It has a Reader functionality as well, but not one to leave comments on those sites from inside the app.

The various Apps are meant for managing your own blogs and posting and commenting on them there. Not for general browsing of other sites not owned by you.
