    Hi Salvatore

I don;t wish to assign the Global API key to any plugin for security reasons.

Can you confirm what rights we need to assign to a new API token for this plugin to work?

    Thank you.

    Hi @kenzi12 ,
follow the instruction on the wizard for creating an API token instead of using API key (choose API token from the dropdown menu).

Due to a Cloudflare bug, is not possible to restrict a token to a specific zone only.

Hi Salva, thanks but the wizard doesnt really point to what ‘rights’ should be assigned when configuring the token on the cloudflare side. Can you share what ‘rights’ should be added when configuring the token?

    Hi @kenzi12 ,
the wizard shows all the steps with rights to assign to every single operation. If you are already on step 3, click on reset all

    Hi Salva

I have deactivate/reactivated your plugin 10 times over the past week and have not found what you are referring to. What template shoud a user select when configuring token on cloudflare?

    Create API Token
Select a template to get started or create a custom token from scratch
    API token templates
Get started with a few pre-configured permissions.
    Edit zone DNS
    Read billing info
    Read analytics and logs
    Edit Cloudflare Workers
    Edit load balancing configuration
    Wordpress
    Create Additional Tokens
    Read all resources

Follow these steps to create a valid API token:

    1. Log in to your Cloudflare account and click on My Profile
    2. Click on API tokens > Create Token > Custom Token > Get started
    3. Enter a Token name (example: token for example.com)

    Permissions:

    • Account – Account Settings – Read
    • Zone – Cache Purge – Purge
    • Zone – Page Rules – Edit
    • Zone – Zone Settings – Edit
    • Zone – Zone – Edit

    Account resources:

    • Include – All accounts

    Zone resources:

    • Include – All zones

Click on Continue to summary and then on Create token.

Enter the generated token into the form and click on Update settings.
