API key lost

    I’m desperate about my API key.
    I lost it and I’m following every support steps, but I can’t recover it yet.
    API key, after support, should appear in my profile, but there are not.
    Please, someone could help me?

    You should read more carefully!
    The API key appears in your wordpress.COM profile not in your admin panel.
    In the admin > Plugins page where the plugins are listed you will find a clickable link under Akismet > APIKey. Why didn’t you click it?

    I have a wordpress blog installed on my own domain and I cannot find the API Key.

    I am trying to install akismet and have done so but it says that it needs the API Key which is nowhere to be found. I’ve looked in MY profile – and it isn’t there.

    I have WordPress 2.2
