API Key Invalid

I’m trying to link my mailchimp account to my website, and when I enter the API into the plugin, I receive the following message below. I’ve tried contacting mailchimp already and they said the API looks good on their end.

Unauthorized. API Key Invalid. Your API key may be invalid, or you’ve attempted to access the wrong datacenter.

401 Unauthorized
