Hi levenat.
Q: Is it possible to deactivate the searchfield in header?
A: Its possible. Open header.php and find this
get_search_form();
and replace to
//get_search_form();

Did it help when i give you admin access?regards
icemailsSo, under the Services section it has a drop down menu to select a page to associate with a service. It requires that you select a page to create a service listing in this section.
However, i have several pages already made specifically for services, and this drop down menu does NOT see ANY of them, but instead only offers me a NEW “About” Page, which when created to get a service to appear, does NOT appear in the menu either.
Please Advise.
J.J. LukasOkay, scratch that last question — i found the work-around.
Now I am curious how to change the text within the Testimonial section.
Each testimonial asks for a PAGE from the website — why?
I want to fill this with text from specific customers, magazines, and other reviews, but there is nowhere to edit the text, or to disassociate it with a page without causing the person to disappear.Next, with the Customer section: you only allow for a bio pic and a link — no testimonial. This is almost the exact opposite of the issue with the Testimonial section.
Please advise. I am perplexed.

Sorry. You must do it yourself. Thank you for your trust.Lukas;
I guess, you are not use a “page” for any services. Dropdown menu shows only pages. Because some blogs have lots of posts(eg:250000). This means slow interface. Also, This feature very useful to showing content on the homepage, such as different pictures and captions.We did this to solve this problem: “Custom Link”.
Suggestion 1 ( easy 🙂 ):
Paste your service(type:post) address to “Custom Link” box.My second suggestion is to use redirect plugin. (https://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/)
Create a page for a summary. Select that page in the services section.
Than, redirect this “page” to “post” with redirection plugin.———–
Testimonial section is a multi-purpose, eg: our team members, news, announcements…
We wanted to like this https://theme.files.wordpress.com/2014/12/fortune_front_testimonials.jpg
However, requires further development.According to the rules, Themes can not provide content. If the theme is changed, the content should not be lost.

Hi,levant
Thank you for the cool theme.
I am trying to use the theme but find 2 questions.
1)In the Services Section、I cannot select summary for the linked pages,
thus all page content is showed under the icon. How can I deal with it?
2)For the front page, if I select display in summary, the click on
read more doesn’t work, page refreshed with read more again.Pls advise and thank you.

@kelvinz
A:1) Summaries isnt stylish. But, the full content is big problem.
Please try this : Customizing ▸ Personal Portfolio Theme Options ▸Services Section ▸ Under any service (eg. service #3) ▸ Fill the “summary” gap with manually.

A:2) I think, You using static page/post for homepage. Static post always goes to the home page.
My suggestion:
Step 1: Customizing ▸ Theme Options ▸ Display Settings ▸Front page, Search, Archives … ▸ Layout ▸ FullText (select this)
Step 2: Create a another page for this article. After, make a manual link to this page.—–
Does it work?
