So you don’t have to enable BruteProtect in Jetpack? It’s just a core part of Jetpack now, and always enabled for anyone running Jetpack?

It is automatically enabled as of Jetpack 3.4.1 and you can turn it off or on as needed via the Protect module in Jetpack. Once you have that running, feel free to remove BruteProtect from your plugins.

Oh, cool. Good to know. Thank you! Can we continue to run BruteProtect plugin on sites without Jetpack? Will that plugin be going away or something in the near future?
