    Hello,

First of all I would like to wish a happy new year to everyone. Now, about our problem: We created a new Mailerlite registration form and we put it in the page above. The problem is that when people click on the reCAPTCHA checkbox, it shows a spinning circle indefinitely and people can’t register. When I reactivated the Cleantalk plugin, everything worked fine. I activated the plugin again for you to take a look.

We had a similar problem about a month ago and your advice was to reset Cleantalk’s settings, which I did. Please take a look because we need the registration asap.

    Thank you

    Hello and Happy New Year!

The Anti-Spam plugin can block all spam without reCAPTCHA. However, there should be no conflict with reCAPTCHA. If you want to use both plugins, please try disabling Anti-Spam options one by one to see which one is causing the problem. You can try disabling these options (WordPress Dashboard -> Settings -> Antispam by Cleantalk -> Advanced settings):

    • SpamFireWall
    • Protect external forms
    • Check email before POST request
    • Add a honeypot field
    • Encode contact data

Please let us know about the results.

Hello again and thank you for your quick reply.

The issue with reCAPTCHA was fixed when I unchecked “Protect external forms”. This was a Mailerlite form, what can we do to have it protected as well?

We have fixed the issue. Please try the fixed version:

    https://github.com/CleanTalk/wordpress-antispam/releases/download/fix-version/cleantalk-spam-protect.zip

    • Go to the WordPress Administrator Panel -> Plugins.
    • Find the plugin ‘Anti-Spam by CleanTalk’ -> Deactivate.
    • After the automatic page refreshing, find the plugin again ‘Anti-Spam by CleanTalk’ -> Delete. Confirm files deletion.
    • Download the plugin archive from the link.
    • Go to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin.
    • Choose the downloaded archive and press ‘Install Now’.
    • After the installation, activate the plugin, and make sure that the access key matches the key from your CleanTalk Dashboard.

    Did it help?
