thank you for the help and yes, i have spent the day looking through this but still no success…
when i uploaded the new wp folder the old one i had stopped working!
and it was impossible to get the installation working on the new one…
the wp-config didnt want to work though it already existed…

Are you sure you aren’t making this more complicated than it has to be? What kind of “page” and “section” do you want? You might be able to just create a WordPress Page or set up a category to pull the data you want displayed in that other “section.”
but i do not want to use the same name as i have given the current wordpress-section.
EG. current place where i use wp is (the name of the wp folder was turned into onlineshop when installing it into the ftp) XXX.com/onlineshop
on my new area i want the domain to be XXX.com/gallery
and then here use the same structure and layout as already is made for the onlineshop…

You want two separate installs of WordPress then. The original being in the /onlineshop folder and the new one in the /gallery folder. You can copy the theme over if you want so that they appear seamless. Is that what you mean? But it’s not a ‘section’. It’s a whole other site.
Now you can also link to them using a plugin or this handy hack:

yes, something like that. not a whole other site though but a subdivision of the mainsite XXX.com
bot /onlineshop and /gallery are subdivisions of the head site.
then is installing another wordpress and copy the theme over the best sollution?
