animated gif

Hello,
I need help uploading an animated gif file to my site. I want it to appear on a page as well as in some blog posts. For some reason, when I load it using the file loader, it inserts it as an image, or not at all. And when it does show as an image, it has a border around it that I can’t seem to get rid of.

So, I guess this is a two-parter:
How do I load an animated gif file?
How do a lose the border around a standard image (gif, jpg) file?
