android browser – mobile menu does not automatically expand by first touch

this issue is related only to the android browser. on chrome mobile, firefox desktop…etc it works, only on android it does not work. i have the issue that i have to click 2 times on the the menu bar/line to expand it. so i have first the menu bar and the menu symbol/lines to the right, it is ok, when i click the first time, i get only the menu bar with the x circle, when i click a second time the menu expands to bottom as expected. how can i make it open directly also on the android browser? Android 4.0 /LG , thanks.
